Haddenham Heavy Horse Show

Over the last few years, there has been a steady decline in the number of horses attending our show. As a result of this, we have made the decision to move towards heavy horse demonstrations in order to secure a good heavy horse presence at the rally. Please follow Haddenham Steam Rally for more updates and to see what’s in store for our heavy horse section at this years’ rally.

We would like to thank Billy Bleach Farrier for his shoemaking and shoeing demonstrations at the rally. Informative, fun and had a crowd throughout the entire weekend!

Following liaison with the Council we have taken the decision to only allow horses entered to the horse show to be on the rally site from 6am Sunday or by exception and agreed in advance with the section steward, in which case the earliest time will be 6pm Saturday. This is in order to manage residual risks and welfare of the horses, attending the show.
