One of our latest creative displays! 💐
The beautiful hydrangea flowers were handmade from tissue paper, creating a lovely 3D effect, while the colourful background was made using bubble wrap and paint to add texture and depth. 🎨✨

We love finding fun, creative ways to bring our displays to life and encourage imagination through arts and crafts.

🌿✨ Relaxation & Wellbeing Session ✨🌿

Our service users enjoyed a lovely, calming relaxation and massage session at the day centre this afternoon 🧖‍♀️💆‍♂️

With soothing music playing in the background and a peaceful atmosphere, everyone had the opportunity to relax and enjoy some well-deserved self-care. Activities included face masks, gentle head massages and relaxing nail care. 💅🧴💆

It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying some quiet time, feeling pampered and taking a moment to unwind. 💙🌸

From Suzanne - Art&Craft lead

So so proud of a certain lady from Larkfield, Bedford House and Ely Community Centre this bag has taken about 5 maybe 6 weeks to complete, but she kept with it each week, cutting out the shapes of fabric, pinning & tacking together, getting on the sewing machine, untacking & back on the sewing machine.
Finished today and she is so pleased with it and she loves that she can take it home today.

I mean, I told her I'm jealous, it's so beautiful. She said "I will make you one" 🥹 bless her heart ❣️ but no, we have started her next project 🪡🧵

Our talented artists have been busy creating these beautiful flower displays using recycled bottle tops, painted leaves, and a touch of imagination! 🌼💐

Every piece has been lovingly made our service users, showcasing their creativity, teamwork, and unique artistic talents.

We are so proud of what they've achieved, and we think these colourful creations have certainly brightened up our day! 💛

Today we say goodbye and congratulations to our wonderful team leader, Donna, as she begins her retirement.

Donna has been an incredible manager and an even more incredible person — kind, caring, supportive, and always there for her team.

Her leadership, encouragement, and positivity have made such a difference to all of us over the years, and she will be greatly missed both professionally and personally.

Thank you, Donna, for everything you have done, for always believing in your team, and for creating such a supportive and positive environment to work in.

You’ve left a lasting impact on so many people, and we are all better for having worked alongside you.

Wishing you a retirement filled with happiness, relaxation, good health, and all the wonderful things you deserve.

🇬🇧👑 What a fantastic day celebrating the 3rd anniversary of King Charles III’s Coronation! 👑🇬🇧

Larkfield, Bedford House and Ely Community Centre is full of colour, creativity, and community spirit 🎉

From the wonderful Union Jack decorations to the brilliant artwork on display (those window designs are amazing!), it was lovely to see everyone coming together to mark the occasion ❤️🤍💙

A big thank you to everyone who helped decorate and join in the celebrations — you made it truly special!

Service Users at Larkfield, Bedford House and Ely Community Centre have knocked it out of the park again! 🎨✨

Just look at what we’ve created — a beautiful mixed media piece using a charity shop canvas, paints, sticks from the garden and hand-painted watercolour designs. From the colourful birdhouses to the delicate little birds and natural branches, every detail has been brought together so creatively.

As their Art & Craft Session leader, I am delighted with how everyone embraces each challenge and adds their own unique touch 🥰

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿✨ Happy St George’s Day! ✨🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Our incredibly talented service users at Larkfield, Bedford House and Ely Community Centre have been busy creating this AMAZING life-size masterpiece! 👏🤩

Starting with a cardboard cut-out, adding layers of papier-mâché, and finishing with shiny tin foil armour… they brought this brilliant knight to life just in time for St George’s Day! 🛡️⚔️

What an awesome display of creativity, teamwork and imagination—we think it looks absolutely fantastic! ❤️
