Good morning, and a happy Thursday to you all 😀
Now last weekend at EAPEX i got chatting to the very lovley Wayne Seadon, he's written several books on the paranormal...

This got me thinking, if I ever wrote a book, what would the cover look like...

What do you think? 😉

Thetford is one of Nofolk's most historically active hot-spots, famous for it's 12th century Priory and ancient coaching inns. The Market Town's rich History has spawned numerous legends, with several specific locations drawing both paranormal investigators and curious visitors, all year round.

The Bell Hotel:
Considered one of the most haunted inns in East Anglia, this 15th century coaching inn is a very active location indeed.

Betty Radcliffe. The Spirit of an 18th century landlady is said to haunt Room 29.
Guest's report pillows moving, curtains drawing themselves, and the sound of key's clinking.

The Hooded Monk. Frequently reported in the cellar and main suites, this apparition is believed to be tied to the curse of the dissolved monasteries.

Other Entities. Sightings of a young servant Girl, snoozing phantom dog's, and shadowy figures pacing the upper floors are widely documented.

Thetford Priory:
These crumbling Cluniac ruins are deeply steeped in eerie legends and auditory hauntings.

Phantom Monks. Since 1932, visitors have reported hearing the disembodied voices of monks chanting in Latin.

The staircase apparition. In 1987, a highly publicized sighting occurred, when a group of Teenagers, (including notable parapsychologist , Christian Jensen-Romer)
Watched a black robed monk descend a set of non existent steps before vanishing.

Good morning, I hope you have all had a good week...

Next weekend I'll be in Saffron Walden (Essex), I'll reveal the exact location closer to the time however.

Also in the Town are these 4 location's renowned for there myths, legends and hauntings...

1). Audley End House:
This Grand Jacobean mansion is the setting for several eerie tales, most notably a phantom horse and coach that is said to thunder through the grounds at midnight.

2). Saffron Walden Castle:
Ruins of the 12th century castle are reportedly haunted by a monk named Robert, who is said to have died during a siege.

3). The Old Swan Inn:
Located on Church Street this 15th century timber framed pub , which is famously associated with Oliver Cromwell, has long been a hot-spot for ghost stories and paranormal investigators alike.

4). WWII Airfield:
The fields close to the B1052 are rumoured to be haunted by the spirit of an American airman, whose plane tragically crashed in 1943 .
