Elmesthorpe WI Elmesthorpe Women's Institute is a non-religious group for women over the age of 18. We meet every 3rd Thursday at Elmesthorpe Village Hall.

It is one of many Institutes within the Leicestershire and Rutland Federation of WIs. Meetings start at 7:30pm.

Our next meeting will be on Thursday 21st May.
A busy night is planned as we need to discussed 2 resolutions in time for the National Annual Meeting in June.
We will be having a short quiz, holding a bring and buy sales table to raise funds, and having a bring and share buffet.
Visitors are welcome (£5.00).
Doors open at 7:00pm and the meeting starts at 7:30pm

Thursday 19th March will be our next meeting at the Village Hall. Our speaker, Pat Swift, will be talking to us about living in Azerbaijan.
Visitors are always welcome to come along for the evening (£5.00 including tea/coffee). If you are thinking of joining the WI, our membership year runs from April to March (although can be calculated pro-rata if you join later) so now is an ideal time for visiting to see whether our WI is for you.
The doors open at 7:00pm for a 7:30pm start.

Thursday 19th February will be our next meeting at the Village Hall. Our speaker will be Caroline Bendix talking about book binding and her conservation work.
Visitors are always welcome to come along for the evening (£5.00 including tea/coffee).
The doors open at 7:00pm for a 7:30pm start but we don't lock up until 10:00pm so there is plenty of time for a drink and a good natter.

Our next meeting will be on Thursday 18th September and we will be welcoming Martin Grant from Leicestershire and Rutland's REMAP, the UK's only charity providing custom-made equipment, free of charge for disabled people.
Visitors are welcome (£5.00), so come and join us at the Village Hall. The meeting starts at 7:30pm and we always have a cup of tea/coffee and a good natter after the speaker.
