Please come and join us at our next Community Litter pick this coming Sunday 6th September

Collect litter from home around 9am - walking to the Eco Hub in Hersham for 10-10:30am. Once with us drop off your litter and enjoy a complementary tea/coffee a slice of cake or biscuits.

Why not make it a family affair - bring the kids, Nana and grandpa too!

It was an absolute pleasure to see so many of you at our July swap, we certainly had a blast and we hope you did too!

As you will have seen it was our seventh birthday and as a birthday treat we celebrated with free entry.

Over the past seven years you have helped us raise an amazing amount of money for a huge range of charities especially within our own community and we couldn’t be more proud. However, we feel this part of our journey is finished and we would like to help our local community in a different way, so moving forward our swap will remain free to everybody. We recognise Molesey Clothing Exchange as a community hub and a space for rest and relaxation, with sustainability always at the heart of what we do!

But dine sorry, we won’t completely stop supporting the things that are close to our heart, we will continue to run two additional fundraising swaps a year.

Our annual Festive Frocks will take place at Christmas, supporting The Molesey Night Shelter, and aiming to offer a sustainable alternative for Christmas jumpers and party dresses alongside an opportunity to find some ethical gifts to share with loved ones.

The Sun and Sequins summer swap will raise money for The Molesey Carnival, we have been incredibly proud to support the St. John’s ambulance to attend the last two carnivals and would like to continue this each June.

☀️ Plug in solar panels are coming to our high street this week and could be blooming on balconies across the country over the coming weeks and months.

These plug in solar panels can be mounted on balconies, windows, or sheds, and they will allow owners and renters to generate their own energy and save on their bills.

We've been campaigning to unlock the potential of our rooftops for years, and plug-in solar panels are a great step forward.

Let's keep the momentum going and make sure we fully unlock the potential of rooftops on warehouses, hospitals and schools too - so we can generate huge amounts of clean, sustainable energy.

Thank you to the Thames Ditton Foundation and Green Elmbridge for hosting a screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing at the Vera Fletcher Hall and to everyone who came along to listen, question and discuss what must happen next. It was a full house!

I have signed the National Emergency Briefing (NEB) calls for a Government-backed televised briefing to ensure the public hears directly about the scale of the emergency and the action needed.

I encourage everyone across Esher and Walton to watch the briefing and be part of this vital national conversation.

Over the summer, we’ve been busy designing and getting our Forest School van ready for the autumn term! 🚐🍂

It’s been 5 wonderful years of turning our family car into a swamp multiple times a week! 😂 With a new school joining the Rewilding family and our very first after-school clubs starting, it was definitely time for an upgrade!
