The Friends of Benhurst Association

The Friends of Benhurst Association Also known as FOB, is a charity fundraising committee run by parents of Benhurst Primary School. All parents are automatically members.

Friends of Benhurst Association (Charity No: 1106626) is a charity fundraising committee run by parents of children in the school. It helps provide all those little extras that enhance the children's school lives. Social, fund raising and educational events are organised regularly. The aims of FOB are best explained by quoting from their constitution:

"We are a group of ordinary parents who get together to organise fund-raising events and social activities for parents and children alike. The funds we raise are at the disposal of the school to provide equipment. Our aim is not only to raise money but to promote good relations between all parents and teachers and we really do get pleasure and satisfaction from our activities. The school is small and a focal point of the local community, there is a genuine friendly atmosphere which is what it's all about".
