We’ve recently been working with A***n, an MSc Sustainability Transitions student at the University of Aberdeen, in collaboration with Scottish Enterprise, on a study exploring the feasibility of measuring Scope 3 carbon emissions across KR Group’s supply chain.

The project focused on mapping our supply chain, identifying key emission hotspots, exploring data collection and measurement methods, and understanding the barriers and challenges to reducing emissions.

With the findings now consolidated into a report, we look forward to reviewing the recommendations and exploring practical ways to measure and reduce our supply chain emissions as part of our ongoing sustainability journey 🌍

Another use for our repurposed PIR boards!

Repurposed materials can still meet the same high standards as new. In this case, our sheet metal team utilised reclaimed PIR for fabricating insulated gutters for one of KR Group's projects. Due to its insulation capabilities, the PIR boards will help reduce heat transfer through the gutter and reduce the risk of condensation.

It’s another example of creative environmental solutions from KR Group.

Client Project Spotlight! ⭐

We recently received this great photo from our regular client Kody, who loves a DIY project.

Kody has been busy making up kindling bags out of our repurposed pallets.

He has also previously made decorations, storage boxes and even a bench from reused pallets, saving them from going to landfill!
