Probably the worst start to summer I can remember . . .

Windy say after a relatively warm dry spring where we had a few +26c degrees and a +27c degrees (our warmest day of the year to date), this summer so far has been abysmal by anyone's standards

I know it's only June 16th but f*k me . . . Longest day on Sunday mind at 09:24 (but we're keeping an eye on the 23rd ken) . . . I'm hoping we still get the last week oh June, July, August and early September (Hopefully 11-12 weeks of some decent weather)

Anyway. Mon tae f*k. Get involved. Don't be a lurker - What do you think of our SUMMER so far, and for those of a certain vintage, can you remember a worse start to SUMMER than this one

PS - Mon the Indian Summer come winter (September, October and November 👀🤷‍♂️😂)

Windy says not much more to add to this one really - a dull dank warm muggy day for most. What ah call a nondescript kinda weather day

Best of the warm muggy highs over in the WEST with highs of +18/20c degrees . . . The midge will be ravenous !!

Always that wee bit cooler over in the EAST with an onshore breeze although guy guys will get the WARMTH at the end of the week (mind though, what don't we confuse WARMTH with)

As forecast. Starts to break down now as we go through the week with a wet Thursday Friday for some

PS - I'll get a look at the Highland Show tomorrow

Windy says HAPPY WEDDING ANNIVERSARY to me & Gusty. Whoop. Whoop

8yrs married. 20yrs together (Ice Factory 2006). And a lifetime still to go (now that we've had some encouraging news from my cardiologist)

This was Gusty's last wedding present of the day and a massive surprise, as the guys were able to set up and get ready as I kept her busy ben the hoose

Happy wedding anniversary Gusty. Love you so much

Windy says I posted this on my PREMIUM PAGE on Sunday with a cheeky wee look at the WEEK AHEAD (away and have a nosey)

This is the (Polar) Jet Stream, what I call the weather motorway. And at the moment it's away down further SOUTH than it should be. And because of this, all the summery weather heat and sunshine is trapped over mainland Europe, especially France, Spain and Portugal

We're on the COOL side which is also the unsettled wet and windy side, with LOW pressure systems never far away . . . You'll get more details on my PREMIUM PAGE

If you look at the middle of that image (the LOW pressure). That is slowly building today (Tuesday) and will be with us Wednesday Thursday and probably Friday, which means a dull dank warm muggy wet windy week for most, not all

PS - No change until the Jet Stream drops further south (let's keep an eye on the 23rd)

Windy says that’s the grass cut, so ah can chill now and watch the 1st half of the Belgium game before I go to bed. I’m still shattered from the Scotland game

Anyway. WEATHER wise. As forecast we’ve got rain coming in tonight overnight into Tuesday, with a dull cloudy showery day for most tomorrow

Highs of +18/20c degrees across parts of the WEST but always that wee bit cooler in the east as you guys have an onshore breeze

PS - Goes downhill from tomorrow with rain Thursday Friday for some

Windy says this is a cross post going out to everybody . . . F*k me. This is the noisiest Dawn Chorus I’ve ever had and there’s only 7 oh the wee f*kers (my record is 17, and they didn’t make near as much noise)

Longer sleep last night but it was non-restorative and my Body Battery is still low . . . My RHR and HRV are decent so I’ll take that

Just getting up in 10. Weather updates to follow after a cheeky wee cuppa tea

Anybody know which one of these f*kers is making all the noise . . . I’ll go for the Crow, the Rook and the Jackdaw in that order

Windy says if you can, get yer grass cut today as we’ve got showers coming in later on this evening, with overnight rain into Tuesday

Tuesday is unsettled wae blustery showers, heavy at times so yer grass will be moist if you leave it

I’ll need to get mine done as well, but at the moment I can’t be ar8ed doing anything
