Lovely morning spent with Rose and Rita at Aberlour Church where we were made so welcome. Rita worked in Aberlour schools and Rose was born near Aberlour and attended the church for many years before she married. A few folk knew and remembered Rose and came and spoke to her. We then went to see where Rose was born and brought up before we passed her niece’s home and she was able to see her .
Both Rose and Rita enjoyed Sonia’s service and the welcome we received from everyone. It is so lovely rekindling memories and reliving days gone by.

Lovely evening at the Summer Service led by Rev. Sonia Palmer at the Biblical Garden. Sonia is one of the Friends of Anderson’s and her lovely service was thoroughly enjoyed by Rose. The cup of tea and home bakes went down a treat. The gardens are beautiful just now and the birds were singing their hearts out. Such a peaceful place.
Rose didn’t really need the cosy toes poncho of which a few have been donated by Friends for use by the residents when they are out and about.

Some of the flowers attended to by Brenda of the Friends Committee and her husband Douglas twice weekly along with some of the residents from Harrison and Ogilvie who enjoy helping. The barrels at the front door donated by and attended to by Iain another Friends committee member. Staff from the units have also been busy painting the fencing and staining the ramp all so residents and their families have somewhere pleasant to sit and enjoy the lovely weather we hope is still to come. The planters were built by the local Men’s shed. The garden furniture was donated by the Friends Committee from monies raised at recent fundraising functions.
Thank you to everyone who attends the functions and donates. Your help is very much appreciated
