HAVE YOUR SAY ON THE FUTURE OF MIDLOTHIAN

What should Rosewell and the wider Midlothian community look like over the next 10 years?

Midlothian Council is preparing the next Local Development Plan for Midlothian. This plan will shape the development and use of land in the area from 2027-2037.

The plan will:

• Allocate sites for future development
• Identify places that should be protected
• Set out the planning policies used to decide future applications

The proposed plan is now open for public consultation. This is your chance to influence it and make sure Rosewell’s voice is heard.

Applications are still open for our Community Activities Coordinator vacancy at The Steading.

This is a full-time, on-site role helping to develop and deliver activities, events and workshops for people of all ages in the Rosewell community.

35 hours per week
£24,475 per annum
Regular evening and weekend work on a rota basis
