Friends of Oaklands assisted in funding the senior residential trip to Lagganlia. Six of our young people took to the Cairngorms for a 5 day adventure trip where they canoed, climbed trees, slid down ski slopes, explored nature, and partied! For some, this was their first stay away from home without their parents – what a huge step! Lagganlia had also never accommodated young people with such complex needs and did an amazing job making sure that everybody could participate in all the activities!
