Happy Friday everyone! We've had a great week onboard Panacea. A wonderful mix of sailing, training and crafting.
We had some wonderfully focused and skilled crafting with Grace yesterday. Impressive and intricate paper quilling. π«Ά
Lots of hands on training to prepare for lock training in Falkirk later this month with our new Helms to be.
Karen and Jon were with friends over at Go Forth and Clyde making plans for Gryphon. Nathan surprised us with a gorgeous upcycled teddy he made, which is a perfect colour match with Gryphon!
Dropped into Linlithgow Canal Centre for a catch up. Lots of boats maintenance going on.
Some of our team will be on a first aid course with friends at All Aboard Edinburgh and Fountainbridge Canalside Community Trust on Monday.
Yesterday we had our training centre inspection with Chris from RYA Scotland and we passed with flying colours. π
Thanks to Mark for support in updating our training folder, excellent training materials and for providing a great introduction to Panacea and discussion with Chris.
Looking forward to further developments very soon.
When you have a moment, please do check out Wetwheels Edinburgh who deliver a wonderful service that helps people with additional support needs to get out on boats and sail the waves at Port Edgar.
Have a great weekend everyone! Catch up later. π
