Introducing Trad Treasures 🎥

Led by TRACS (Traditional Arts and Culture Scotland), this new initiative shines a light on the individuals who have shaped and enriched Scotland’s traditional arts. Through recordings, films, and artist profiles, Trad Treasures celebrates the contributions of these artists across music, storytelling, dance, and crafts.

With plans to produce up to three films each year, we’re proud to present our very first premiere: a film exploring the life of singer and weaver Jimmy Hutchison.

Created by Joseph Matheson and co-produced with TRACS CEO Steve Byrne, this debut release marks an exciting beginning for the series.

Tickets are now on sale for the premiere on 1st May. Find out more about Trad Treasures and how to attend here: https://tracscotland.org/tradtreasures/
