Registered charity in Scotland number SCO46500. Wave Project Scotland was established in 2014 to deliver surf therapy to young people in Scotland. Since its inception the project has helped to transform the lives of over 500 young people and their families across Scotland, helping them to improve their wellbeing and life skills, make

new friends and find new purpose in their lives. Young people are referred to the project by professionals working in different services (such as local health and social services) and the focus is on improving confidence, reducing anxiety and developing positive relationships. Wave Project Scotland now provides a regular, free surf therapy service available for young people in East Lothian and Edinburgh, and surrounding areas.

We want to express a huge thanks to the for organizing a wonderful educational day and visit, offering us the opportunity to explore the RNLI station in Dunbar. It was phenomenal to see 20plus people from our surf club actively engaged, taking in valuable insights from the RNLI experts and asking questions. It was incredible to see firsthand what they do, and we are so delighted, we hope to make this a regular event for our surf club.

Following that, a huge shoutout to for making our night absolutely amazing! As part of our surf club activity, we brought 32 members, including kids, parents, and volunteers, and they absolutely nailed it. Not only did they cook 32 flawless pizzas in record time, but they also created a safe space for our neurodivergent kids. Our members are often brave and phenomenal in the water, but crowded environments on land can be tough. Hector’s rearranged tables, adjusted the whole downstairs floor, and everyone was so happy, they stayed until the very end of the meal. We couldn’t be more grateful, thank you, Hector's team, you were incredible!

A huge thank you to Dunbar Dolphins swim club for choosing The Wave Project Scotland for their sponsored swim charity!
This is really special as it was all the swimmers themselves that nominated and chose us .... thank you guys!

They raised a whopping £1030.73 which they donated into our Big Give campaign .... doubling this already fabulous amount!

We are so lucky to be part of this community, who value and support the work that we do!

Merry Christmas to all the swimmers, coaches and the committee too🥰
