Thank you so much to The World Garden for having us at their annual Cactus at the Castle event!

This weekend saw 2 new members join us at the show, as well as plenty of advice given by our vice-chairman Steve Harding and some gorgeous plants sold!

Thank you to everyone who said hello, and we'll see you at the BBC Gardeners' World Autumn Fair at Audley End next weekend.

If you want to enter the photo competition this year, the deadline for entries is fast approaching.

Head over to the website www.h**esociety.org for the rules. All winning entries will be displayed on the website and at the AGM. Garden centre vouchers will be awarded to first and second placed photos.

Last Thursday, our chairman (Nigel Hutchinson), vice chairman (Steve Harding), secretary (Lewis Normand), and digital creator (Talea Harding) all met up at RHS Garden Wisley to exchange some H**es.

Steve gave Nigel cuttings of some new H**e varieties, as well as some lovely small potted H**es for the garden!
