🎸 Complimentary Concert Tickets Available 🎸

We have five pairs of tickets available for Bon Jovi at Murrayfield Stadium this Friday 28th August.

These tickets are available to members of our House of Hope community, with each pair intended for one person impacted by breast cancer and one guest/carer.

A huge thank you to for generously donating these tickets for our community to enjoy.

Tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, and we expect them to go quickly!

What's on this week - 24th–28th August 💜

Another week of support, wellbeing and community at the House of Hope.
From 24th–28th August, you can join us for Relaxation and one-to-one appointments with Rosie, Spinal Flow & Nutrition 1:1s, Pilates, Wellness Wednesday, Chair Yoga, Support HER & HIM, Move It or Lose It and Cuppa & Craft Friday.

We're also launching our NEW Triple-Negative Support Group on Tuesday evening, creating a dedicated space for people diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer to meet, share experiences and connect with others who understand.

And remember, our drop-in hours are Tuesday to Friday, 12–4pm. No appointment needed – just pop in for a cuppa, a tour or a chat with the team. 💜

Everything you wanted to know about wigs... but never knew who to ask. 💗

We're delighted to welcome Magz from Aderans Trendco Wigs back to the House of Hope for another relaxed and informative evening, where no question is too small.

Whether you're considering a wig, already wear one, or are supporting someone who does, this workshop is a chance to ask questions, hear practical advice and build confidence in a welcoming, supportive space.

Magz will cover topics including:
• Choosing the right wig
• Styling and everyday care
• Looking after your wig
• Comfort, confidence and fit
• Plus plenty of time for your questions

Join us for an evening of expert advice, friendly conversation and support from people who understand.

Join Lesley from MeAmora UK and Ireland on Tuesday 29th September, 6.30–8pm, for an informal session exploring skincare, makeup and salon-quality press-on nails.

You'll have the chance to try products for yourself, discover colours and skincare that suit you, and pick up simple tips you can use at home.

There’s no pressure to buy – just a welcoming space to have a go, ask questions, and enjoy a lovely evening with others in our community.

This week's Thank You Thursday goes to Nikhat Yusaf, Saeema Hayat and everyone at Bridgend Farmhouse!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the fundraising event on 4th August such a success, raising an incredible £933.32 (and counting!) for the House of Hope.

From delicious pakora, scones and cakes to the warm welcome and community spirit throughout the day, it was a wonderful event that brought people together while supporting those impacted by breast cancer.

A special thank you to Nikhat and Saeema for all their hard work in organising the event, and to everyone at Bridgend Farmhouse who helped make it happen.

Every pound raised helps us continue providing hope, support and wellbeing for people impacted by breast cancer across Scotland. Thank you for your generosity and support. 💜

🎶 One week to go until Go Sing for Hope!

Next Monday, some brilliant local choirs, theatre groups and performers are coming together at Bo’ness Parish Church for a fantastic evening of live entertainment.
The line-up includes Falkirk Bohemians, Captivate, LAMP, Children’s Theatre Bo’ness, Project Theatre, Bo’ness Belles, Retirement Rocks, Find Your Voice, vocalist Isla Cadman and West End star Robyn Gilbertson.

And even better, the evening will be raising funds for The House of Hope and Bo’ness Parish Church. 💗

If you've been invited for your breast screening appointment, this is your reminder to go.

Rosie recently visited one of the Scottish Breast Screening Programme mobile units for her routine 3-yearly mammogram, and this reel shows just how quick and straightforward the appointment can be.

Breast screening can detect cancer before you notice any symptoms, when treatment is often more effective. In Scotland, most women aged 50–70 are invited every three years, with the first invitation usually arriving between the ages of 50 and 53.

If you've received your invitation, please don't put it off.

If you think you should have been invited but haven't, or if it's been more than three years since your last screening, contact your GP or your local breast screening service.
