What a day. What a team. What an achievement. 🏆💛🖤

We honestly can’t put into words how proud we are of these girls. There were some many emotions flying around, but mostly just pride for every single player and everything they’ve achieved together this season.

A massive thank you to all the parents, family, and friends for your incredible support throughout the tournament. The girls hear every bit of encouragement and it truly means everything to them 👏

And a huge thank you to the coaching team and everyone behind the scenes helping this group grow into something really special.

⭐ Tournament Highlights:
🧤 Outstanding goalkeeping throughout the day with unbelievable saves in both the matches and penalty shootouts — plus incredible bravery stepping up to take penalties under pressure.
🛡 Huge defensive performances with goal-line clearances, crucial tackles, and players stepping into unfamiliar positions for the good of the team.
⚽ Brilliant goals, fearless penalties, and some incredible attacking football all tournament long.
🔥 Tireless pressing, hard running, and players giving absolutely everything for each other.
👏 Amazing teamwork, resilience, and togetherness from start to finish.

💛 One of the most special things about this team is the spirit they have together. They lift each other up, celebrate every moment together, and never stop fighting for one another.

The girls faced plenty of adversity during the tournament — tough decisions, little recovery time, injuries, and missing key players — but they kept going and showed unbelievable character to come out on top.

Seeing how much it meant to them all, the celebrations at the end, and the support from the sidelines made the whole day unforgettable.

To go from a brand new team to tournament winners in our very first season is simply incredible. Every single player should be so proud of themselves 🖤💛

Couldn’t have asked for a better way to finish an absolutely brilliant FIRST season for the girls ⚽️💛🖤

A fantastic 4–0 win against a team that’s been together for years, so proud of every single one of them! 👏

⭐ Player of the Match
Another outstanding performance with a hat-trick, incredible work rate, and a beautiful finish to take the season tally even higher, just unstoppable!

Team Highlights:
🧤 Some incredible saves early on to keep things tight, plus a brilliant assist from a perfectly placed kick.
🛡 Strong, composed defending all game with great blocks, interceptions, and playing out from the back.
⚽ Midfield worked tirelessly — supporting both attack and defence and keeping everything ticking.
✨ Brilliant control and skill on a tough pitch, creating chances and setting up goals.
🔥 Excellent movement and teamwork up front, with relentless pressing and well-deserved goals.
👏 A clean sheet to top it all off. A real team effort!

An incredibly brave performance stepping into goal for the very first time — keeping clean sheets in 3 out of 4 quarters, making some fantastic saves, and showing great kicking too.

👏 Special mention to our regular goalie: we all missed you today, and can’t wait to have you back with us next week!

🧤 A standout debut in goal with confidence and composure throughout.
🛡 Solid defending across the pitch, reading the game well and building attacks from the back.
⚽ A brilliant long-range goal and some excellent link-up play creating chances.
🔥 Dominant midfield play, winning tackles, covering every blade of grass, and keeping their key player quiet.
✨ Skillful dribbling and creativity leading to multiple chances and assists.
🎯 A hat-trick performance full of energy, direct running, and unselfish play.
💪 Relentless effort up front, constantly pressing and creating problems for the defence.

In just 6 months, this team has grown so much and I honestly couldn’t be prouder. Today they showed exactly what they’re about, never giving up, and they fully deserved that win against a very strong side.

Player of the Match ⭐
An inspirational performance in midfield, driving the team forward and stepping up with a brilliant penalty in the shootout.

Team Highlights:
🧤 A huge moment from the spot and an incredible shootout performance — not a single penalty conceded!
🛡 Strong, determined defending all game with crucial tackles, blocks, and winning so many battles.
⚽ A brilliant individual goal to get us back into it and an important equaliser at just the right time.
🔥 Non-stop effort across the pitch — running, pressing, and never letting the opposition settle.
👏 Incredible teamwork, resilience, and belief right until the very end.

It’s just been confirmed the girls have made the Non Competitive Trophy Event FINAL after todays win 👏
With the first game being postponed I was worried they wouldn’t get a fair shout but with them winning the next two games they have done brilliantly.
Next week we will play against Woodingdean again (thankfully at home!) in the final. Very exciting for the girls.

So happy for the girls, not even 6 months in since we started this journey and they are doing so well. 💛🖤

Another great win for the girls this morning! ⚽️💪

A win puts us in a strong position for next week’s final — just waiting for confirmation from the league.

It was a really chilly start, so a big thank you to everyone who came out to support the team. The girls really appreciate it!

Player of the Match ⭐
A fantastic solo goal after a brilliant run through midfield and a great finish to top off a dominant third quarter performance.

Highlights:
🧤 Some outstanding saves early on kept us in the game.
🛡 Solid defending throughout, a crucial block to stop a goal and some excellent interceptions and tackles.
⚽ Great passing and skill across the pitch, with players working hard both in attack and tracking back to defend.
