Two humans, one tripod and a very enthusiastic sea. 🌊

We came to Bexhill to record our first “proper” videos for Bootifullyou and hash tag Bootsie… and instantly got reminded that real life never goes to plan.

Out of our comfort zones, laughing, dodging waves, trying again.
That’s really what a is for us – not perfection, just honest little moments of “this is where we are today”.

If you’re trying something new and it feels a bit wobbly, you’re not alone.

So… a couple of weeks back we hit that point where everything felt like too much.

Too many tabs open in our heads, too many worries, not enough space to breathe.

So we did the thing that nearly always helps us:
we took it to the beach.

Golden hour, rough sand, cold water and a lot of giggles later, Andrea did something brave and simple and painted how she needed to feel on the back of her boot.

⭐️ The star – inspiration
🌼 The dandelions seeds – wishes
🌱 The green flowers – personal growth
❤️ The hearts – self-care

Suddenly it wasn’t “just” a boot.
It was a tiny, wearable reminder:
you’re allowed to still have wishes,
you’re allowed to grow slowly,
you’re allowed to look after yourself
…even when life feels heavy.

That’s what a really is for us –
a little pause, a view from where you are, one honest line or image to say:

“This is me today. I’m still here.”

If today’s felt a bit much, you don’t have to fix everything.
Maybe just notice your steps, your wheels, your rest spot.

Our boots on this day were at Shaugh Bridge, Dartmoor, Devon, UK.

Inside, I’m a mix of anxious and determined. Part of me wants to turn around. Part of me knows I need to try.

I’m learning that courage doesn’t feel like confidence. It often feels like shaking hands, a tight chest and one more step in the direction that matters.

We had the idea for on a sunny walk in Studland Bay.

This photo was taken six days later on a stormy day in Bexhill.
Life had already swept us back into overwhelm, and the “perfect moment” to start our new movement never seemed to arrive.

The truth? There is no perfect moment. Just two pairs of boots, still standing in the waves, choosing to begin anyway.
