Throughout the Summer months we are proud to be supporting a number of large events, including events across Sussex 🌈

This Saturday the 20th July sees Pride 2024 take place - the event which includes a parade taking place from Eastbourne Pier to Princess Park will see some road closures in place.

Pride events across the UK are celebratory events that also raise awareness of the discrimination LGBTQ+ communities still face; Sussex Police recognises the importance of observing such events, and we are committed to being a diverse and equal workforce that represents the communities we serve.

This Saturday, the award-winning Eastbourne Pride event is back and promises a day full of fun, love and support for the LGBT community.

Local charity BourneOutLGBT present their family friendly and inclusive Pride event to the Eastbourne community. With the Pride Party in Princes Park promising a whole host of entertainment and live music, the colourful Pride parade will set off at 12:00 from Eastbourne Pier and head along the seafront to join the party.

Entry to Princes Park is with tickets only (under 12s go free with discounted entry for 13 - 15 years). Tickets can be purchased online and will be swapped for an entry wristband on arrival. http://www.eastbournepride.com/

This Saturday 18th May the new Inspire Sussex community Social Hub opens in Old Town. Pop in !!!
