A huge thank you to everyone who turned out for the Lincolnshire themed pop up pub on Friday and a massive thank you to our two guitarists who entertained everyone with their music for the night 🎶🎶🎶

The b**r was all but drunk, the sausages were very tasty & the non-alcoholic sales & tuck shop did well too.

As you know profits go towards maintaining the church building…

The quinquennial inspection will report soon, so a list of essential and ongoing works will be created by the PCC.

I suspect that the roof will be on the list along with the heating. So many more £££ will be needed!

If you’re interested in supporting the fundraising efforts on a monthly basis do contact us. We have a 100 Club - more info available. Just ask keal or Jessup

See you at the next on 11th December - note your diaries now!

It’s time to start planning for the autumn pop up pub. Note the date in your diary now: 2nd October.

It’s the day after Lincolnshire Day (which marks the uprising that began at St James’ church Louth).

So we’ll be marking it with a Lincolnshire theme, including, of course, the most delicious Lincolnshire sausages.

We look forward to seeing you at St Helen’s church, East Keal, in October!

🎶 Oh what a night… 🎶

Thank you to everyone who came along to the St Helen’s Arms pop up pub last night.

The Fun(d)raising committee are very grateful for the support & the extension of the visitors from near & far, family & friends.

It was a great community atmosphere ❤️

We also appreciated your understanding when the ploughman’s supper didn’t quite manage to replicate the feeding of the five thousand.

We ordered more b**r this time; next time we’ll order more b**r AND more food.

Q: what place is cool inside, without using air conditioning, when the weather is HOT HOT HOT?

A: East Keal village church.

This coming Friday a warm welcome awaits you as the St Helen's Arms opens its doors for the June 2026 Pop up Pub.

Pop inside and grab your summer tipple, cocktail or b**r from the bar and pop back outside to enjoy the balmy summer evening we are forecast.

Pop back in for your food (served around 7pm), and enjoy the cool(ish) environment of the church as you chat with friends old and new from the village and surrounding areas.

The Friends of St Helen's Fun(d)raising Committee look forward to welcoming you.
