After a request for help and a Plumber - Just a big Thank you to Rob - who sorted out the overflow from the Village Hall and then also found and fixed a leaking pipe that no one realised was leaking - hence preventing damage to the ceiling of the Hall. - Highly recommended by the Village Hall Management. 👍

East Challow Village Hall
URGENT HELP NEEDED

The Village Hall needs Volunteers to help with it's running and general up-keep.
CAN YOU HELP?

Can you spare a few hours each month to assist the small team who regularly meet to keep this village facility open and running? Sadly if no one comes forward we will have to consider closing the Village Hall which would be such a loss to the Village and Community. The Hall is busy and has many regular bookings - please will you consider helping us?

Our next meeting is Wednesday 27th September '23

We have had a request from one of our regular Hall users who had difficulty finding enough car parking space for her class members.

Please do not park in the Village Hall carpark - it is specifically for use by People Using and hiring the hall for classes, meetings and events as well as church goers. There is a council provided carpark adjacent for general carparking.

Good Evening everyone
We have an overflow issue at the Village Hall. Is there anyone who would be able to take a look at the Tank in the Void above our stage - It will need someone slim and agile as the access is not at all good, We suspect it is just the ballcock on the main tank which may have a bit of dirt/grit or some such preventing it returning to its proper position.
We are a Charity run by volunteers so rely on the support of people in the village and surrounding area to help us.
We do not want the hall to end up with damp walls and cracked brickwork caused by any cold weather
