The Wihan Quartet has held its position of eminence among the most distinguished Czech chamber groups for nearly 40 years. This remarkable consistency, in part a result of minimal personnel changes, is also down to the Wihan’s ability to revitalise its interpretative approach. We are in for a treat!

The Red Lion is offering 10% off food to ticket holders tomorrow. Park behind the pub and then a short walk to the church after a relaxed lunch.

Brass sounds wonderful in the church so it should be an uplifting event. Dress warmly as there is a problem with the heating.

Tomorrow is the last concert of the SVAM 2024-2025 season. The Henschel Quartet are returning to play for us at St Mary’s Church in East Bergholt at 4pm. A real treat in store. Tickets £18 at the door if you haven’t yet got yours.

Not long before the next two concerts in March! 9th & 23rd!
Get the dates in your diary and hope to see you there, at St Mary's Church in East Bergholt.

The Kammerphilharmonie arrive on Sunday 9 March at 4pm. We love them and they keep coming back despite being based in Germany. The trumpeter will be with the chamber string orchestra too which sounds amazing in the church, a perfect acoustic for this. Lot of favourite composers to sit back and enjoy.
