Ayrshire East Scouts This Scouting district covers towns and villages throuout East Ayrshire from Dunlop in the North to New Cumnock & Dalmellington in the South.

The district provides support for the groups within the district of Ayrshire East - an area covering Dalmellingto & New Cumnock in the South to Dunlop & Fenwick in the North.

I am pleased to announce that Erin Goldie has been appointed to the role of Group Lead Volunteer at the 21st Ayrshire.

Today we held our first District Cub event of 2026. Teams from across Ayrshire East joined together to take part in a potted sports competition.
All the Cubs had a fun filled afternoon working together in their sixes and moving around the different bases. After snacks, the afternoon was finished off with a game of tug-o-war. Sad to say that the leaders team were not strong enough and lost to the Cubs.

We also had the opportunity to say thanks to two Cub leaders. David and Elaine Tizzard were both presented with their Chief Scouts 10 year service award for their work at both the 91st Ayrshire Cubs and also the 22nd Ayrshire (Crosshouse Hospital) Scout and Guide group.

Lastly, a special thanks to the 91st Ayrshire (St Jospeh) Cubs for hosting the event.
