The Britains Got Talent final is 7pm tonight, let's see the Hawkstone Farmers Choir win it!

The choir are spreading the message to their fellow farmers and anyone in the UK who feels alone that they never truly are.

Chris reached out to Shout in crisis, and since then he’s been raising awareness and fundraising for Shout through his heroic efforts to scale the tallest mountains in the world 💜

It's Maternal Mental Health Month, so we're sharing Leanne's story.

After the birth of her daughter, Leanne was experiencing suicidal thoughts, but felt completely unable to speak about them.

"I felt terrified that once I said it out loud, I would never be able to take it back. Would they think I was a bad mum?"

The thought of calling a crisis line felt impossible, but she could write down how she felt, so she texted Shout.

"Speaking to a Shout Volunteer definitely helped reduce the power in my dark thoughts and the hold they had over me."

Sometimes, just writing out her thoughts was enough to get her through a dark night and keep going until life felt more bearable.

Leanne has now recovered from postnatal depression. She went back to university to study mental health nursing and was shortlisted for Student Nurse of the Year.

If you're a mum who's struggling right now, Leanne has a message for you: "You won't have to find the words. All you have to do is message one word."

What a weekend! A huge thank you to Farm Fest for a wonderful event! We really enjoyed soaking up the atmosphere, having great conversations about our service, meeting lots of new people, and raising awareness on stage about our farmer keyword ‘HAWKSTONE’. For anyone who needs to hear it: hope is out there, and if you need it, we’re here for you 💜

Another massive thank you goes to everyone who volunteered their time to join us for the festival, we couldn’t do what we do with you. We are so unbelievably grateful to our partners at Hawkstone for giving us a platform to raise awareness and funds for the Shout service 💜

Shout ambassador Amy Hudson, alongside her husband Kyle Hudson, are taking on the World Record for fastest duo to cycle around the world!

Together, they are attempting an 18,000 mile/ 29,000km journey over 150 days. That’s a whopping 136miles/ 220km a day! They’re travelling with enough kit for the whole journey, and are currently flying to Bangkok for the next leg of their adventure.

Amy got into cycling during an especially hard time with her mental health. When she was at her lowest, her husband Kyle bought her a bike. She went on rides with her dad and realised then that one of the only times she felt good was while she was riding - so she kept going.

“I went out on long hilly rides, and pushing up hills meant that I couldn’t focus on anything but breathing. It also made me feel more worthy, and reminded me of the things I could achieve.”

Last year, Amy became the first woman to ride the full men's Tour de France route plus transfers, raising over £90,000 for our services along the way. We’re so grateful she’s chosen to support Shout whilst she attempts this incredible challenge.

Farming can be an incredibly isolating way of life. Long hours, remote locations, and little time to switch off. But this choir has shown how beneficial community can be for mental health.

As part of our Move for Mental Health campaign, Shout staff members Frankie and Joel joined the and teams for a run and then cleaning a local green space.

In between moving pieces of wood and a whole unused shed out of the way, we spoke to the team about how movement boosts their wellbeing each day 💜
