West London Equality Centre - Community Advice Programme We give advice to people in discrimination, welfare, hate crime and other matters, during the week or Saturdays via CAP at the University of West London.

EU settlement help: 08000564745 West London Equality Centre has been providing advice to people on matters related to discrimination, hate crime and general advice and casework since 1963, and operating the Community Advice Programme since 1993. We are specialist advisers in areas such as welfare, housing, family, debt, immigration/asylum, nationality, employment, disability. We assist in policy development in the field of equality, hate crime, and BMER matters.

WLEC is deeply saddened by the sudden news of the death of Dr Aysha Raza. Amongst her many roles, she served for many years as a WLEC Trustee and campaigned strongly for equality rights. Her energy was infectious and unbounded. She will be missed by the many who came across her and in whose interest she worked so selflessly in her life time. She is irreplaceable and will leave a void. Our prayers are with her immediate family and everyone who had the blessing of knowing her. Here she is is with Director Edmund Akeju and our human rights award winner Kunle Olulode in 2024.
