We held our Annual Awards Night yesterday evening followed by our Camp 2026 meeting. Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated with us. It was great to reflect back over the year as well as recognise achievement, particularly those earning their Presidents Badge which is the second highest award available in the BB. We’re proud of each and every one of you who comes to BB and we hope you have a great final few weeks before we finish for summer. Thank you! 🙂🏅

Football fever hit the 7th Northampton last night as we held a World Cup 2026 themed evening! We started with a game of football outside, had devotions around team work and values, played penalty shootout and played world cup predictions rock paper scissors with Brazil and Ecuador coming out on top in their respective games and also had a higher or lower quiz. We even did a draw for World Cup teams to see who will have the winning team come the end of the tournament. My favourite currently is Owen who got Ecuador, France and Spain! But time will tell! Thanks for a great evening and we hope you all enjoy the World Cup once it begins! Come on England! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

What a day our Juniors had at Twinlakes yesterday. What started off as a soggy day soon dried up when we reached Melton Mowbray and the weather stayed on our side throughout a brilliant day full of thrills and laughs at the park. Thanks so much to Northamptonshire Boys' Brigade for organising such a great trip. It was also great to go around the park with friends from 22nd Northampton Boys' Brigade 🙂 Thanks everyone for a wonderful day!

We finally got around to putting together our David Attenborough 100th Birthday collage from the last couple of weeks! Look how great it turned out and how colourful it is! Who knew some of gods creatures could come in those colours too! 🤣 The collage will be displayed in church at our Annual Awards Night in June.

On Monday at Juniors we held a very special evening to celebrate the national treasure that is David Attenborough who marked his 100th Birthday last week. We began the evening by starting our Attenborough collage where boys coloured tiles in which will eventually be put together to make a giant picture of Sir David. We were then visited by the brilliant Dave Sharpe from Raptor Xotics who gave us a talk on various animals including snakes, spiders and an owl 🦉. We tested the boys Attenborough and animals knowledge with True/False and animals quizzes and also had time to watch Sir David’s legendary trip to Rwanda where he had a remarkable interaction with a family of Gorillas. We spoke about how the video highlighted the importance of ‘Acceptance’ and to react to how people treat us and not just on how people look and how people look different to ourselves.

What a wonderful way to celebrate the life of an extraordinary man! Thank you Sir David for all that you do! ❤️🙏🏻

TONIGHT-For one night only, in celebration of Sir David Attenborough's 100th Birthday, St Andrew's will become a tropical rainforest when Dave from RaptorXotics will be talking about and sharing creatures from that habitat with our very own mini environmentalists. Remember the slight changes of times to accommodate Anchors and Juniors visiting the jungle together:
ANCHORS (YRs 1 -3) 6.00pm – 7.30pm
JUNIORS (Yrs 4 – 6) 6.15pm – 8.15pm

Any boy in school years 1 -6 wishing to find out more about The Boys’ Brigade is invited to come along this evening to join the adventure.

Super evening last Friday as Company and Seniors combined for physical and educational activities. Following a very competitive game of Danish Longball, the boys played 4 team Numbers Football where , when their number was called, individuals attempted to defend their team's goal whilst trying to score in one of the other three goals. As tradition dictates in the 7th the final score was one all.
The tempo and adrenaline were reduced during devotions where we considered why the truth is important comparing Presidents Obama and Trump. We also enjoyed pizza after which everyone tried to join The 1% Club. The number claiming they were successful suggested that either we have the smartest Company in the Brigade or that devotions had fallen on deaf ears!!
It was great to welcome our top year Juniors and a new member in year 8 and see them being supported by our older boys. We hope that they enjoyed being with us and look forward to seeing them all next week.
