Hi everyone,

Just a reminder that youth club will not be on this Wednesday (26th August)

This is due to the Fun and Food session being on from 11am to 3pm. If your child wants to attend the Fun and Food session, you can sign them up using the QR code that is issued from the school. If that does not work, you can pay £5 per child for the duration of the session

If anyone has any queries or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us

We had a quiet session over in Haswell this evening but it still was a great session :)

We coloured in capybaras, teddy bears, summer pictures and lollipops for crafts

We also did some carnival games too including corners and an obstacle course too

Morning everyone,

Just a reminder that youth club is on today from 3:30pm to 5:30pm

We are going to be doing an obstacle course and playing outdoor football, croquet and team building games too

In terms of crafts, we are going to be doing some colouring in and doing some puzzles too

There is tea and refreshments on as normal too

🌟 WHAT A FANTASTIC DAY AT BEAMISH! 🌟

We’ve had such a lovely day today at Beamish with our amazing young people! ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day possible, and especially to the wonderful Kids Kabin team. 🥰

Thank you also to all of the staff and parents who came along, helped out and made the day so enjoyable.

Lots of smiles, laughs and memories made! 💕 We hope all of our young people had as much fun as we did! 🚌✨

📢 NEED HELP BOOKING YOUR YOUNG PERSON ONTO FUN & FOOD? WE'RE HERE TO HELP!

Following our first Fun & Food session, we received some feedback that a few families weren't sure how to book their young people onto the sessions.

To make things easier, we're holding a Fun & Food Booking Drop-In at the community centre.

📅 Monday 10th August
🕥 10:30am – 12:30pm *(We'll stay longer if needed to make sure everyone gets the help they need.)*
📍 Haswell & Haswell Plough Community Centre

Samantha from the Fun & Food Team will be joining us and will be on hand to:

✅ Check your eligibility
✅ Help you register
✅ Book your young person onto any Fun & Food sessions – whether they're taking place with us or at another local venue.

No appointment is needed – just pop in and we'll be happy to help.

If you've been unsure how to sign up, this is the perfect opportunity to get everything sorted before the next sessions!

ATTENTION ALL PARENTS OF YOUNG PEOPLE COMING ON OUR Trip to Beamish Museum – Friday 7th August 2026

Dear Parent/Carer,

We are writing to inform you about our upcoming trip to Beamish Museum on Friday 7th August 2026.

Please ensure that all young people arrive at the Haswell and Haswell Plough Community Centre by 9:30am and will depart promptly
at 10:00am.

Both Declan and Karina will be on the bus with the young people and staff from Kids Kabin will be meeting us there.

All young people must bring:
A packed lunch
A refillable water bottle
A raincoat

The coach will leave Beamish Museum at 4:00pm,with an estimated return to Haswell of approximately 4:30pm.

Hi Parent/Carer,
We hope you're all having a lovely summer!
We just wanted to let you know that Youth Club will not be running on Wednesday 29th July or Wednesday 26th August, as we will be hosting our Fun & Food holiday sessions on these dates instead.
If your young person qualifies for Free School Meals, we'd love for them to join us! The sessions run from 11:00am–3:00pm and include a fun-filled day of activities, entertainment and lunch.
To book a place, you'll need to register through the Fun & Food booking system on the Government website, in the same way as other Fun & Food activities.
If your young person does not qualify for Free School Meals, they are still very welcome to attend for £5 per session. Simply get in touch with us directly to book their place, as spaces are limited.
Please note that a parent or guardian must remain with their young person for the duration of the session.
Our Fun & Food sessions are also open to all young people, not just those who live in Haswell, so friends and family are welcome too.
We hope many of our Youth Club members will be able to join us over the summer!

Hi everyone,

Just a reminder that this week is the start of our summer holiday programme

This Wednesday (29th July), the session for the summer fun and food session is 11am to 3pm. Youth club is not on this Wednesday as a result of the summer session.

The session is being funded by Fun and Food so any young people who receive free school meals get into the session for free and have to register via the government website. For those young people who are not on free school meals, it is £5 per young person.

Please note that parents and guardians must stay with their young people throughout the session
