Every year, The Marcus Anderson Foundation begins our annual fundraiser in April and continues through the end of July in support of MAF and the work we do in the community.

This April, we were honored to kick things off during Jazz Appreciation Month with an incredible Sight & Sound Concert for the Deaf and Blind. We are truly thankful to everyone who came out, supported the event, shared love, and helped make the evening meaningful and memorable. From the music and fellowship to the spirit of togetherness, it was a beautiful reminder of the power of community.

As our fundraiser continues through July, we simply want to say thank you for every donation, prayer, share, and word of encouragement. Your support means so much to us.

Recently, through the Marcus Anderson Foundation, we were honored to donate $10,000 to Durham Public Schools to help support arts education and create more opportunities for young people.

Our mission has always been bigger than the music. We believe in investing in the next generation, giving youth the tools, encouragement, and creative outlets they need to dream bigger and build brighter futures.

Over the years, we have also donated close to $100,000 to the music and jazz department at North Carolina Central University, and we are just getting started. We have major plans ahead to continue supporting students, schools, scholarships, instruments, and the arts in our communities.

The future is bright, and we are committed to helping pave the way for future generations through the arts.
