POST ALERT the old gate post snapped this morning making it unsafe to enter pond so we’ve had to call an emergency contractor in as members have not rallied to fix it again cost of £250 but had to be done if we Carnt get members to volunteer and help out with these kind of jobs membership will go up again next year to have work carried out LPAA

There will be no work party at Tursdale on Saturday.I have not been able to get back in contact with the guy who had the boards.This has not helped due to the length of time and lack of response from members Thank you to the ones who did put their names forward.
We will try and source more boards and rearrange at a later date depending on volunteers.

Just a heads up on the last post.lts a shocking response, only myself and fred.We have the chance to open up a couple of pegs but if we don't get any further volunteers l will not approach the guy for the boards in fact they may have gone by now and further pegs will get closed.There appears to be a lack of commitment from members on lake maintainence even offering a couple of hours of their time for the better, for their waters.lf there is a problem let me know what the issue is.

At Present we have pegs 2,3,4,6,11,13,and 14 closed on Tursdale due to safety concerns with steps down to pegs or platforms which are in a sorry state.The taped areas must not be removed.Any member fishing any of the closed pegs will be brought in front of the committee and risk losing their membership.
There is a possibility that we can get 10 boards delivered to Tursdale on Saturday coming but we need volunteers with drills, crow bar spades, hammers etc. There will be only 10 boards to put in place at present on a temporary basis and other arrangements will be made at a later date.
If nothing gets done further pegs will close in time.
Can members who are willing to attend please
put names below and l will arrange delivery of the boards:
