Watch of for an outline of priorities, project suggestions, innovative ideas emerging from the Community Led Planning survey - report available over the next couple of weeks.

What's been done so far?
2023 - Community led planning team gets underway.
> Town team formed from local services and volunteers, and meeting every 4-6 weeks approx.
> 200 participating in consultation from community groups - incuding Springfield residents, Open Event, Senior Citizens, Silver Sunday, Friends of Duns PS, and primary school children.
> 10 emerging themes identified ...
2024 - Town team's focus - "which groups still need to be consulted?" Drive to hear more from 16 - 64 age groups, and people who travel into Duns to use local services.
> Emerging themes tested - @ Greener Duns event
> Online questionnaires promoted via sports clubs, businesses, health services (>40 responses).
> Paper questionnaires distributed via Duns show, local employers, sports centre, local shops and services (>20 responses).
> Longfield focus group (14 residents 2 staff)
Next steps ...
> Youth responses?
> Update emerging themes - prioritise via public consultation (Sept/Oct)
> Then draft a Local Place Plan for public consultation (Oct/Nov)
