Wow! You guys are really looking forward to our first Stirling Pride's Rural Tour event on 18th January at 1pm at Plean Country Park!

It is completely FREE to sign up and there is still time to sign up and come along, have a natter and a wee wander. The route we will take will be accessible for wheelchairs and there is ample parking at the Country Park so why not come along?

🗣️ WE ARE LOOKING FOR A CONVENOR 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Overview of the Role:
As the Convenor, you will be the guiding force behind Fife Pride. You will chair meetings, represent the organisation publicly, and support the team in delivering a successful Pride event. Your leadership will help ensure the smooth running of the organisation.

😁 Responsibilities 👨‍🏫

• Lead meetings and discussions, ensuring effective communication and decision-making.
• Communicate with Fife Council over the Service Level Agreement, and funding.
• Coordinate the evaluation of Fife Pride.
• Represent Fife Pride in public engagements and with partners.
• Support the wider team in planning and executing the Pride event.
• Oversee long-term strategy and organisational development.
• Act as a key spokesperson for Fife Pride. Key Qualities and Experience:
• Strong leadership and facilitation skills.
• Experience in chairing meetings.
• Experience writing funding applications.
• Experience in leading teams or groups, particularly in a voluntary or event-based setting.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Passion for LGBTQ+ equality and community events.
• Experience in event planning or project management is a plus.

Come along and enjoy a FREE bowl of soup or stovies each day up until March.

We open from 11.30am Monday - Saturday.
