🚨🚨🚨 CITY: Dundee has been named the most creative city in Scotland and the third most creative city in the whole of the UK in a new report by Affinity.

The Creative Cities Report looked at 50 UK cities and measured everything from creative jobs and university courses to cultural venues, coworking spaces, arts funding and affordability.

Dundee stood out for its 98 creative spaces, major cultural investment and its status as the UK’s first UNESCO City of Design, helping it finish behind only Worcester and Carlisle in the overall UK ranking.

The city was also praised as a strong all-rounder for creatives, combining access to culture and opportunity with a comparatively affordable cost of living.

From design and digital to theatre, art, music and gaming, Dundee’s creative identity continues to punch well above its weight — and this latest accolade puts the city right near the top of the UK.

A weekend of rugby, competition, and friendship, with plenty of reasons to celebrate the connection between Dundee and Alexandria as part of the cities’ ongoing twinning relationship.
