Kaydee is Eilidh’s best friend from school and has decided to walk the Kiltwalk this Sunday, raising money for Freddie’s Ataxia Fund.

This summer they went interrailing together to mark the end of school (the photo above was their Paris stop!) Kaydee has always been such a supportive friend and she treats Eilidh just like anyone else, seeing her before she sees FA.

Tara Else is the youngest daughter of Sally's friend, Laura. After joining us at our annual Family Fun Night in February, Tara was inspired to take on a fundraising challenge in support of Freddie's Ataxia Fund.

This is Tara's very first fundraising event, and we are incredibly honoured and proud that she has chosen Freddie's Ataxia Fund as her nominated charity.

🙏Please have a read and take a minute to to sign and share this petition. It needs to reach 10000 signatures to be taken forward and it’s over half way there. Omaveloxolone is the only licensed treatment for the treatment of Friedreich’s Ataxia but access in the UK has stalled. All support is appreciated 🙏

Petition: Fund NHS access to Omaveloxolone for patients with Friedreich's Ataxia

We call on the Government to fund NHS access to Omaveloxolone in the UK. We believe the drug should also be considered under the HST programme, which we feel is the only appraisal route which reflects the realities of Friedreich's Ataxia. This is a degenerative disease & time is of the essence.

Adam and Joseph are close family friends who’ve grown up alongside Eilidh and her brothers. This July they’re running a half marathon in Dundee in support of Freddie’s Ataxia Fund. We have seen the hard work and dedication they have put in to training and will be supporting them from the sidelines!
