Fundraising for Jarvis

Little update on Jarvis.
Annual check up at the local vets few days ago.
Weighing in at 58kg
All healthy.
Still no muscle building on his back legs unfortunately the weird position of his left leg due to him shifting weight and compensating due to the hip dysplasia so he isn't suffering with pain. This looks like will be a permenant position for his leg.
Vet said if in the future this does cause issues with what would be his knee. We will cross that bridge when we come to it.....(operation, pain management etc )
But they are happy with him at the moment in a couple months is a check up at the specialists vets.

This was him finally recovering after being ill for weeks with Giardia parasite that he had contracted from the dirty conditions the breeder kept him in.

Out for a walk at trottick ponds. Swans must a have a nest cause they come right over from the middle off the pond they were not amused at Jarvis 😆

Look who is allowed out of his crate. Trip to East Neuk Vets for his 6week check up been given all clear. Healing well. Straight to 20 minute walks to build up muscle.
Issue with left leg position is just due to compensating soon as we build muscle this should resolve. Excited is not the word for how happy he is to be out the crate.
Next stop groomers ASAP 🤣

Loving a pamper session. Paws trimmed, groom and some aloe vera on his front legs as they are abit irritated.
Spray down of some doggy deodorant can't wait till he gets to the groomers for a good wash he pongs abit

Do you think Jarvis is fed up in his crate. 🙈
Sedatives today as he is too agitated will be getting a groom later and and his Kong to keep him busy later today. Only few more weeks to go of crate rest.

Jarvis had a check up at our local vet. Scar healing well. We were abit worried about the strange position he was putting his other leg in but vet looked him over said because he is trying to compensate and he has no muscle tone to his back legs. It's over working his "good" leg so his leg is becoming tired and struggling support his weight. So some gentle exercises/physio for that leg.
He also was in desperate need of a groom. So was a good brush on the mats in the kitchen. The scissors had to be brought out as some matts could not be brushed out. 🙈
he does love a pamper though so another groom tomorrow.
