Caird Park Velodrome For updates and information relating to the Caird Park Velodrome in Dundee The track has been used for competition an training for many years.

Caird Park is a 400m tarmac track situated in the large Caird Park on the north side of Dundee. Sir Chris Hoy won the first of his many cycling championshiips at Caird Park, taking the 15km scratch race, a little further than the events he became famous for. In 2012 the old beech hedge was removed and the track received a £300k uplift, with a new racing surface and surrounding fence put in. This r

efurbishment was led bt the Discovery Junior Cycling Club how have basically taken over and run the events at Caird Park since their inception in 2005. The club actively encourages and supports anyone who wants to use the facility for training racing or coaching.
