We had a fabulous time at the Dunblane Fling and would like to thank all of you for coming and buying our hotdogs and snacks. We raised enough money to buy another couple of tents which will support our young people in the various camps happening across the summer months. Our very own hotdogs had a fabulous time too and were total stars. Thank you ⚜️

We'd like to thank Tesco Dunblane In The Community for the trays of apples they supplied for our district Splash camp this weekend. We had a great time and the fruit was much appreciated. Thanks for your continued support to our young people.

In Dunblane we are very fortunate to have a thriving Scout Group with a great team of wonderful, hard working leaders. However, it must be said that some of the Tuesday and Thursday night scout leaders are getting a bit tired and long in the tooth. We really need some extra bodies to help share the load otherwise there is the danger we will need to reduce the number of meetings or close a section.

What are we looking for?
People who can contribute new ideas and new energy to the running of scout nights. We're not expecting you to be there every night - the aim of extending the team is to share the load between us.

What is essential?
You will need to complete the PVG process, supply two references and complete some basic online courses in subjects such as child protection and GDPR. You will also be asked to take part in some simple first aid training.

What's in it for me?
Unfortunately the whole 'volunteer' bit means we can't offer much. We'll cover all your training and uniform expenses and we'll supply a tent and all the tea and coffee you can drink when at camp.
The main reward is the knowledge that by giving up your time you are giving children in Dunblane fabulous life shaping experiences.

Do I need to know the words to 'Ging Gang Goolie'?
No previous scouting is required. However, if you have any passions or interests then we would love you to share them with us. That could be anything from film and musical theatre through to hiking and kayaking.

Does this sound interesting?
If so, then please have a word with one of the leaders, or email us at [email protected]

7 of our scouts completed their expedition challenge hike this weekend in Aviemore. They had a great time, hiked 26km, camped, cooked their meals, and dealt with a bit of wintry weather this morning. Well done all. And thanks to the leaders who supported. ⚜️

4th/85th Dunblane Scouts would like to thank CFSLA CFSLA for the equipment to enable our sections to litter pick in Dunblane. We were given an award of £599.40 to purchase the litter pickers, gloves, collecting materials. This will help us to keep our community clean and tidy for years to come. Very much appreciated ⚜️
