At the Moffat Studio, the home of Make/Change Collective we metJane to offer our support to their inspired vision for the Theatre. Multiple opportunities there for people in Moffat and beyond to get involved in music, in theatre and in being creative. 🎵🎸🎭

🚗As our tour of Dumfries and Galloway continues, our Social Enterprise team recently caught up with Colin, Social Enterprise Manager at SHAX in Dumfries - one of the many brilliant Social Enterprises supported through the Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway UK Shared Prosperity Fund programme.

Launched in September 2025, the programme offers grants of up to £5,000 to help enterprises realise their market potential and strengthen the social economy.

At SHAX, the funding has been used to purchase a mattress-cleaning machine, enabling mattresses to be recycled locally. This reduces landfill and transport costs while providing affordable, fully sanitised mattresses for the community.

Well done SHAX Charity we are delighted to watch your progess and the wonderful impact you have in Dumfries and Galloway.
