What a fantastic day!

Thank you to everyone that donated items and made cake and thank you so much to everyone that came, none of this would be possible without you all!

Extra special thanks to our fabulous committee of volunteers who have worked extremely hard to make this happen.Very proud of what we have achieved today

Thank you again to Jayne and Mike for funding the bouncy castle and Happy birthday to Jayne! Hope you enjoyed your day

We have raised £316.50 ⭐️
We also received an extremely generous donation of £250.00 from a valued member of the community (not sure if he wants to be mentioned, but we are are extremely grateful)

DOG MESS‼️
The committee met on the rec tonight to finalise plans for the fun day on Saturday.
It was extremely disappointing to find quite a few piles of dog mess around the rec and by the bench.
The committee are working extremely hard to keep the rec in a good usable state but we are all volunteers and we are not happy to pick up after your dog! Your dog is your responsibility.
If this continues we will have no other choice than to ban dogs from the rec completely and this will spoil it for the ones that do respect this communal area

The committee would like to give a huge thanks to Jayne and Mike Heron who have very generously hired a bouncy castle and games 🙏
Jayne is also celebrating her 65th birthday so please come along and help her have a fantastic day and welcome their family to the village!

Cakes and refreshments will be available (cash only, all proceeds to Brierley recreation ground)
