A big thank you to Funding for All for inviting us to their conference in Faversham on Friday.

It was fantastic to connect with so many inspiring people making a difference across Kent.

We delivered our first wellbeing workshop, ‘Who Looks After the Fundraiser?’, highlighting the importance of supporting those who spend so much time supporting others.

At Hub & Spoke, we believe everyone working in the sector deserves connection, community and care.

💚 Supporting Those Who Support Others 💚

With World Mental Health Day tomorrow, we're proud to announce the launch of our Wellbeing Pilot!

We know that supporting others can sometimes come with its own pressures and challenges. That's why we're offering free counselling to staff, volunteers and selected beneficiaries across four of our Hub & Spoke organisations.

Because those who care for our communities deserve to be cared for too.
We hope to extend this support to all Hub & Spoke members across Kent in the future.

Established in 1986, Friends of Dover Castle is a registered charity dedicated to supporting and celebrating one of Britain’s most iconic historic landmarks, while strengthening the connection between the Castle and its local community.
Through fundraising, volunteering, special events and behind-the-scenes experiences, the Friends play an important role in helping preserve Dover Castle and its remarkable history for generations to come.
We’re pleased to welcome Friends of Dover Castle to the Hub & Spoke community!

Established in 2024, Men’s Circle – East Kent offers a safe, welcoming and non-judgemental space for men to talk, connect and support one another.

With monthly meet-ups in Sandwich, coffee mornings and community activities, it’s all about honest conversation, mutual support and a sense of belonging.

We’re delighted to welcome them to the Hub & Spoke community!

The Hope Street Centre is a fantastic local charity providing a helping hand in the community. It offers a safe and welcoming space where people can socialise, access support groups, take part in activities and events, volunteer, learn new skills and connect with others.

From community groups and employment support to activities, volunteering opportunities and their Lighthouse Coffee Shop, the Centre plays an important role in bringing people together and supporting the local community.

We’re really pleased to have them on board and look forward to working together as part of the growing Hub & Spoke community.

Based in Sheerness, The Freedom Centre provides a welcoming and supportive environment for adults with physical disabilities and moderate learning disabilities. The Centre offers a fantastic range of social, educational and recreational activities, including arts and crafts, exercise, swimming, games and trips, as well as opportunities to simply spend time with friends and be part of a supportive community.

By joining the Hub & Spoke network, The Freedom Centre becomes part of a growing community of organisations working together, sharing ideas, knowledge and opportunities, and helping to create stronger connections across our communities. We’re really pleased to have them on board and look forward to seeing what we can achieve together! 🌟
