This week in our BHS Changing Lives Through Horses programme, our learners have been exploring rhythm.
Together, we learned about the sequence of footfalls and discovered how each pace has its own unique rhythm and pattern of movement. There's something truly special about taking learning beyond the classroom and seeing these concepts come to life with the horse.
By observing the horse's movement firsthand, our learners are developing their observation skills, building confidence, improving concentration, and strengthening their understanding of rhythm through real-life experience. It's a fantastic example of how horses can inspire learning, curiosity, and personal growth.

It's a wonderful reminder that some of the best lessons happen alongside a horse, where learning becomes an experience rather than just a theory.

Tan is raising money through her epic walk across Scotland. She has asked Ella to talk a bit more about what she does at the stables with our learners.
