Don’t forget Dorstone Playing Field can be booked for children’s birthday parties 🥳 🎈with the exclusive use of toilets and portacabin with small kitchen space, and access to the adjacent children’s play area . Contact the committee on [email protected] to discuss dates available.

Very late announcing (sorry!) but the winning numbers of the September Dorstone Draw in aid of Dorstone Playing Field Charity were:

Number 41: 1st prize £29.00
Number 85: 2nd prize £17.40
Number 99: 3rd prize £11.60

If you would like to join the draw, please comment / message / email / talk to a committee member and we will send you the form.

Remember 50% of all profits after prize allocations go to maintaining our precious community space - the draw is an easy way to support the field 🙂

Deadline for entries and payment is 5th of each month - I realise it's already the 6th October but I'm sure we can stretch the deadline a little for the October draw if you make contact in the next couple of days.

'Mirrorball Band is a friendly, local five piece band from Herefordshire who specialise in getting everyone up and dancing. With a live mix of male and female vocals, keys, guitar, bass and drums, they play well-known songs from across the decades — all chosen to bring people together and create a relaxed, feel-good atmosphere.

Their aim is to make sure people of all ages have a great time, whether they’re dancing, singing along, or just enjoying the music with a drink in hand. You’ll hear familiar favourites, from golden oldies to recent hits, all played with energy and warmth.

Focused on weddings, parties and festivals, Mirrorball Band have built a reputation locally for delivering fun, memorable nights where the dancefloor fills up early and stays busy till the end.
