Dorchester Duck Patrol

10/10/2026

Hello!

We are very lucky to have some dedicated patrollers looking after our ducks and swans.

Come rain or shine, they are there.

I won't name them but they know exactly who they are.

Thank you so much for taking the time out from your busy schedules to help keep our wildlife safe.

Please sign this petition to make catapult attacks against animals a standalone criminal offence.

Introduce legislation in England to make it a specific, standalone criminal offence to intentionally or recklessly use, discharge or attempt to discharge a catapult or slingshot at or towards any animal.

I would just like to say a huge thank you to my patrollers this week🦆🦢😍.

Duck news update;

BBC interview should be out Tuesday this week after being rearranged a couple of times.

I will also be conducting an interview with ITV very soon.

I'm awaiting response from a school regarding educating children on the importance of our wildlife.

More patrol vests available soon.

Someone from another group has suggested this so I'm giving them the credit.

Let's all bombard our MP with emails regarding our wildlife!

Sadly, another duck has been catapulted through its neck. 🦆😭😭.

We need more and longer patrols to stop these sick individuals.
