♿ The cafe and Splatter Room are wheelchair accessible and a char can be available in the Splatter Room. The toilet has level access but is not fully accessible.
Our socials are inclusive and relaxed. Friends, carers, support people and local people who'd simply like to attend more inclusive events are all welcome. Just make sure everyone attending books their own free ticket.

We're so excited to invite you to the very first VITAL Social at Off The Canvas, Sheffield!

If you're looking for a relaxed, welcoming evening where you can meet new people, get creative and enjoy good company, we'd love for you to join us.

No artistic experience is needed. Simply choose a project from the art menu, bring your favourite drinks and enjoy the evening.

This is the very first of many VITAL Socials, and we can't wait to build a community where people can try new things, discover new hobbies and make genuine friendships.

✨ Happy Disability Pride Month! ✨

You may have noticed we've been a little quiet on here...

The reality of being a lived experience-led organisation is that sometimes all our spoons get used up actually doing the work... so our social media occasionally takes one for the team. 🥄😅

But we're still here, and we've been busy behind the scenes.

Disability Pride Month is the perfect time to celebrate our community, come together, and look ahead to everything that's still to come.

We can't wait to share what's next, continue building our community, and connect with even more amazing disabled, chronically ill and neurodivergent people through our events, projects and services. 🌟

Our maternity experiences survey is still open. All £5 vouchers have no been claimed, however respondents who provide an email will still be entered into the draw for a £50 voucher.
If you’re disabled or living with a long‑term health condition and received maternity care in South Yorkshire in the last 3 years, we’d love to hear from you.

Thank you to everyone who’s already taken part, your insights are powerful and deeply appreciated.

We’ve extended the survey, and we’re especially keen to hear from people whose experiences highlight barriers, challenges, or areas where maternity care needs improvement. Your voice can help drive real change.

We’ll be sharing the findings with the NHS to support improvements to maternity services across South Yorkshire.

£5 voucher available for completing the short anonymous questionnaire. It only takes a few minutes.

We’re inviting women and birthing people to share their experiences as part of a research project funded by South Yorkshire Community Foundation and NHS South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board.

VITAL Network CIC has received a £20,000 grant from The National Lottery Community Fund! 💜

This funding means we can start creating free and low cost relaxed, accessible events for disabled, chronically ill and neurodivergent adults - spaces where you can meet people that get it, try new things, and enjoy yourself without having to explain yourself or push past your limits.

We’re starting to plan our first events and activities now, and we want them to reflect the people who’ll actually be there. Different interests, access needs and energy levels.
