Our maternity experiences survey is still open. All £5 vouchers have no been claimed, however respondents who provide an email will still be entered into the draw for a £50 voucher.
If you’re disabled or living with a long‑term health condition and received maternity care in South Yorkshire in the last 3 years, we’d love to hear from you.

Thank you to everyone who’s already taken part, your insights are powerful and deeply appreciated.

We’ve extended the survey, and we’re especially keen to hear from people whose experiences highlight barriers, challenges, or areas where maternity care needs improvement. Your voice can help drive real change.

We’re inviting women and birthing people to share their experiences as part of a research project funded by South Yorkshire Community Foundation and NHS South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board.

VITAL Network CIC has received a £20,000 grant from The National Lottery Community Fund! 💜

This funding means we can start creating free and low cost relaxed, accessible events for disabled, chronically ill and neurodivergent adults - spaces where you can meet people that get it, try new things, and enjoy yourself without having to explain yourself or push past your limits.

We’re starting to plan our first events and activities now, and we want them to reflect the people who’ll actually be there. Different interests, access needs and energy levels.

✨ New year. New beginnings ✨

We’re excited to launch VITAL Network CIC! a not-for-profit created by and for disabled people, including those who are chronically ill and/or neurodivergent.

VITAL is about community, access, and opportunity. We’re building spaces to connect, accessible events and activities, and work shaped by lived experience - including research, training, resources, advocacy, and practical support to help people access more of life.

We have some exciting projects in the works, so follow for updates and to find out how to get involved as the network grows 💜
