Oh hello, it is Dasher… and I have been busy again.

More new passengers joined me today from Marlborough Court, and we had a fabulous outing — breezing along, giggling at the bumps and wind gusts, and stopping to admire the ever‑dramatic ducks doing their usual bossy strutting.

A stronger wind, a happy trishaw, and very content passengers 💚💚

Well, well… Dasher and Powerhouse have been out on the town.

We rolled ourselves over to the Royal Oak in Didcot for a brilliant social with our pilots — a chance to wet our whistles, swap tales, and stir up some fresh ideas for the chapter.

A little training, a lot of chatting, and plenty of excitement about what comes next.

We left with full hearts and even fuller plans 🎄 🌟 📏

Oh hello my lovely humans… Dasher reporting in with a BIG day of firsts.
Tim hopped on for his first official ride — and honestly, he made such good work of it I might have to give him a little badge 🙌

Then off we went for our first group ride from Marlborough Court. Two first time, fabulous passenger rides… and one of them was having their first ever bike ride. My handlebars nearly melted with happiness 🥰

What a joyful day for all of us.

🚲💛 Fresh faces on the pedals!

We have a few new volunteers stretching their legs on the trishaw pedals — and they are loving every moment. As the seasons draw in, we are looking for more fabulous clients to join us for rides filled with fresh air, laughter and connection.

We have all the equipment to keep you warm, dry and comfortable, so there is no need to worry about the weather.

Hi Everyone,

As the seasons draw in, many people spend more time indoors, and winter can feel long and quiet. Our volunteers will always make time to cycle, whatever the weather may bring, because a simple ride outdoors can lift spirits in a way nothing else quite can.

We have all the equipment needed to keep passengers warm, dry and comfortable throughout their journey, so there is no need to worry about getting cold or wet.

If you have a friend, family member or neighbour who might appreciate a little fresh air and companionship, please let us know.

We are here for them!!!

Step aside, Dasher… look who is here!
🔥 The Didcot Powerhouse has officially rolled into town and made his unofficial debut ride today with a wonderful pair of our regulars.

You may have spotted us gliding around the Ladygrove Lakes or stopping for a little refuel (🍰 &☕️)in the Cornerstone Arts Centre Café. First day out and already wondering how on earth Dasher manages all her miles without stopping. Bless him.

Two trikes now, twice the joy, and a whole lot of fresh air shared.

💚💚 Oh hello my lovely humans… it is Dasher rolling in with a little update.

I have been such a busy girl this week — my wheels have barely stopped spinning. So many miles clocked up, so many fresh‑air smiles delivered, and so many wonderful people met along the way.

And then this beautiful message arrived from one of our clients:

“When he came home today he has almost been his old self, his mood is so much better. It is ghastly when you are just in pain the whole time and just wonderful there are people like you who bring some respite. THANK YOU!”

My basket is full of joy after reading that.

We have new pilots out and about, new clients joining us, and a whole lot of sunshine in our week.

💛 More Pilots in the Making!

We had such a fun evening last night training more wonderful volunteer pilots for Cycling Without Age Didcot 💛

There was plenty of laughter, lots of learning, and a brilliant sense of teamwork as everyone practised riding, chatting, and building confidence on the trishaw. Every new pilot means more opportunities to bring joy, connection, and a little wind‑in‑your‑hair magic to our community.

If you would like to get involved — whether as a pilot, a support volunteer, or helping behind the scenes — we would love to welcome you.
