Dasher has had another cracking adventure, and she is still rattling (politely) from the excitement 💛🚲

We rolled out of OSJCT The Meadows with two absolutely lovely passengers on board, and off we went… straight down the bumpy road to the train station, where Dasher insisted on giving a few enthusiastic t***s to the passing trains. The trains tooted back. She is convinced they know her now.

From there, we trundled over to Didcot Plant to proudly introduce our passengers — and Dasher herself — to one of our brilliant sponsors. She tried to sit very still and look professional, but her wheels may have wiggled with pride.

Then came the jungle expedition.
The hedges on the way to Ladygrove are… let us say… ambitious. Dasher powered through like a tiny safari vehicle, delivering her passengers safely into a world full of wildlife:

• Goslings and their very attentive parents
• Ducks doing their usual bossy strutting
• Moorhens darting about like they were late for something
• Pigeons supervising from above
• Rats pretending they weren’t absolutely delighted to see people

We fed the birds their peas, enjoyed the sunshine, and soaked up all the smiles before heading gently back home.

Another day, another adventure, another pair of happy passengers.
Dasher’s basket is full of stories again 💛🦆✨

💛 Volunteers’ Week — A Big Dasher Thank You

Hello my lovely humans, it is me Dasher, rolling in with a heart full of gratitude for Volunteers’ Week. I want to celebrate every single one of the wonderful humans who keep my wheels turning and our community smiling.

First up is Lindsay — the very first person to reassure Amy that this was a great thing, a beautiful idea worth holding onto. When it was just a spark, she believed in the cause. She helped Amy keep the flame alive, she gave me a safe home, and she introduced Cycling Without Age Didcot to the lovely people of Upton. Lindsay, your belief made all the difference.

Then there’s Claire, our weekday wonder — always there when most humans are busy doing weekday things. She’s my show‑and‑teller, proudly taking me out to meet new friends, and more recently our brilliant data cruncher, helping Amy make sense of all the numbers.

Next up, the fabulous duo Sam and Neil — my painters and decorators who keep me looking fabulous, and my brave goose feeders who negotiate with the feathery locals so our passengers can enjoy peaceful rides.

A huge thank you to Heather and Cathy, our clever data crunchers and proud exhibitors. They help us shine at events, share our story, and make sure everything behind the scenes adds up beautifully.

Then we have Wendy H and Gary, our inspiration to be more. Their belief in what we can achieve together is the reason we’re dreaming big and saying: bring on a wheelchair‑friendly trishaw. Their vision keeps us moving forward.

And finally… a massive welcome and thank you to our newbies Rachel, Graeme, Neil, and others, who jumped straight in at the deep end with rides, passengers, geese, and all the joy and chaos that comes with being part of the CWAD family. You have brought fresh energy and open hearts, and I adore you already.

To every volunteer — thank you for your time, your kindness, your laughter, and your love. You make this community what it is.

If you want to feel the love, come and join us 💛

A few of my favourite pics of you all🥰🥰🙏🏻💞💚💚

Ohhh hello my favourite humans, it is your girl Dasher rolling in with a slightly cheekier weekend update… and let me tell you, I have had an absolutely quacking time. 🦆✨

I have been out meeting the wonderful folks from Valarian Court, and honestly, they spoiled me with smiles, stories and sunshine. But that was only half the fun…

Because nature clearly decided to put on a full‑blown parade for me:

• Goslings wobbling around like fluffy tiddly toddlers
• Ducklings acting like they owned the ponds
• Squirrels doing parkour for absolutely no reason
• Birds singing louder than my bell (rude, but impressive)

And then — oh yes — I had first rides with some brand‑new pilots. They climbed aboard, held on tight, and I may have shown off a little… just a tiny bit of my smooth corners and “look at me go” energy.

They were brilliant. I was brilliant.
Basically, we were all brilliant.

So yes, it has been a quacking, squeaking, chirping, people‑loving kind of weekend, and my wheels are still grinning.

If anyone else from Valarian Court or anywhere else fancies a spin with Didcot’s cheekiest trishaw, you know where to find me. 💚

💚💚Well hello my lovely humans, it is Dasher here… and guess what

I had a mini training party last night. Four brand‑new pilots climbed aboard, learned my favourite moves, and absolutely smashed it.

I am feeling very proud of them — and very pleased with myself too.

It means I can whisk even more of you around during the week.

More rides, more smiles, more adventures.

Your girl is growing her fan club.💚💚
