Didcot Good Neighbour Scheme - DGNS Our aim is to provide a voluntary service that overcomes temporary problems for Didcot`s elderly, vulnerable or isolated residents.

Didcot Good Neighbour Scheme is a community service staffed entirely by volunteers that offers help and support to elderly, vulnerable and isolated people in the Didcot area. If you feel that you could benefit from a little extra friendship or occasional support, or know someone in Didcot who could, then get in touch with us. Our volunteers are all local people who are committed to helping the loc

al community. They all carry identification and have been DBS checked. Our co-ordinator will visit the client`s home to make an initial assessment and then will allocate the most suitable volunteer for them. If we are unable to help, we will suggest a more appropriate solution to the problem. The Good Neighbour scheme is provided free of charge, however voluntary donations are always welcome.
