Farewell to Kirklees Safe Places 💙
With deep regret, the Kirklees Safe Places Scheme will end on 31st March 2025 due to funding cuts. Since 2012, it has built a network of 200 Safe Places and supported over 1,000 Safe Places cardholders, helping vulnerable people feel safer in their communities.
✨ Thank You to Our Incredible Safe Places Community ✨
💙 To the Safe Place site staff, many of whom have been with us from the start—your dedication has been invaluable.
💙 To our volunteers—your passion for training, events, and advocacy has made a real difference.
💙 To Andrew from National Safe Places—your support and resources have been instrumental.
💙 And – lastly but by no means least - to our Project Coordinator, Carol Hazeldine—your hard work and commitment have been truly inspiring.
