Is it me or, does the Spar shop look like it's about to close/go out of business? The shelves are half empty as is one of their freezers.

And Londis has a new look but is still run by that miserable beggar that overcharges for stamps and other everyday essentials.

Can the people of the Ho and Bideford help with this one, I wander.

A lady of pensionable age has fled an abusive relationship. She is now staying here in the Ho but; she’s looking for a 1 bedroomed furnished property to live in/rent (preferably not at the top of a hill). If it’s supported living or, warden controlled, even better.

Can anyone make any recommendations or suggestions? Many tia

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ‼️
Unfortunately, both days this weekend I’ve had significant underpayments in the cake shed. As a small business, this has a real impact — it’s not just “a little bit,” it adds up and affects stock ,running costs and is theft

I always try to keep things friendly and trust-based, but this isn’t fair or sustainable. Because of this, I’ll be monitoring stock more closely and CCTV will now be installed in the shed.

I’d really appreciate everyone’s honesty and support so I can keep the shed going for you all 💛
