Meet Mario from Macqueen Vets!

He was having a lovely cuddle with Houdini after checking how he’s doing, Houdini is the kitten that has been accidentally sat on which has resulted in a nasty hip break.

We’re hoping for surgery soon now he’s grown a little bit more.

❤️ Meet Sushi and Toast! ❤️

Looking for their forever home, together.

These two haven’t had the easiest start.
For those who haven’t been following their story, these cuties were born via caesarean in May, hand reared by a team of fosterers, then became very poorly..

Despite the odds being stacked against them, these two are now thriving! They love nothing more than playing together, food and cuddles!

Routine faecal testing showed they carry the Feline Coronavirus, although very common and usually shows no symptoms (estimates suggest up to 70% cats in the UK are carriers of the virus!) These two will need to go to a cat- free home, to reduce risk to other pets.

Search and Scan - SAS have done it again 🎉 💕

Blossom was a cat we rehomed with her siblings, after months of being kept in, she went out and got herself lost.

Search & Scan have been a constant help and this morning they safely reunited her back to her family 🥰🥰

This morning Blossoms family had a visit from our volunteer carrying a very precious surprise. A surprise that has alleviated 6 weeks of worry, concern, fading hope and tears.

Blossom is HOME 😻. She is giving her family loads of snuggles and even gave our volunteer hugs of appreciation.

Our volunteer had seen Blossom appear in her cam and was working closely with the people living at the location to build trust / make arrangements for safe capture. This morning Blossom bravely entered their house and was safely contained. We would like to extend our immense gratitude to this family for their support and help which has resulted in this superb reunite.

Meet Houdini 🐾💔 now in our care.

This little 8 week old kitten has accidentally been sat on resulting in his hip being fractured 😢

We couldn’t say no to helping so we have taken him in and had him seen straight away by Macqueen Vets as he was clearly in pain and unable to put any weight on his leg, they spotted straight away one leg was longer than the other.. usually meaning a fracture or dislocation 💔

An xray was done which confirmed this little bean has a fracture which needs repairing.

The only way forward now for him is surgery.

We always want to be able to help where we can but that means also relying on all our supporters to help us to make the difference.

Houdini’s life has only just started, we can all be his angels just like we did for Elvis with the broken pelvis 🥰
