Thank you to all who attended the Lavender Lacemakers Lace Day in Hunstanton yesterday, we had a lovely day. There was a wide range of retail therapy which everyone enjoyed along side chatter and of course some lace making! Carole Morris gave an interesting talk on Beads and Helen Taylor from the Bridge For Heroes Charity who talked about what our chosen charity does. Raffle competition tea and cake enjoyed and the day came to an end too soon. Until next time May 15th 2027 see you there !!

It is with much sadness that we report that Lynn Hallifax has died. She led the lavender lacemakers group, based in Dersingham, for many years, and is warmly remembered for her kindness, her patience and her careful teaching style, as well as her lacemaking skill. She organised our annual lace day as well as contributing to many other local events designed to spread the word about lacemaking, and to raise money for various charities. She will be sorely missed. xx
