We want to thank Ruairí and Niree for their support and attendance at our events over the last year, two excellent representatives for our City and District 💚

As the civic year draws to a close, everyone at Team Guildhall wants to extend our heartfelt thanks to our outgoing Mayor, Councillor Ruairi McHugh, and Deputy Mayor, Alderman Niree McNorris.

It has been an absolute privilege to work alongside you both over the past year. From welcoming international dignitaries to hosting vibrant community groups, thank you for your dedication, warmth, and energy as we opened our doors to so many wonderful visitors. We'll still see you around of course, but we wish you both the absolute best of luck in all your future endeavours!

As one chapter closes, another begins. Tonight marks the Annual General Meeting (AGM), where we officially welcome our incoming Mayor and Deputy Mayor as they take office.

Team Guildhall is incredibly excited to support them both in the year ahead and look forward to the many fantastic events, visits, and milestones to come. Welcome aboard!

🌞Skeoge Summer Scheme🌞

This is a first come first serve service. Read the form carefully and ensure you are filling out the correct week & age group for your child.

The Foyle Cup runs from the 20th - 25th July so please be sure that your child is not participating if you are signing them up.

A £10 fee is to be paid prior to the summer scheme, this helps with the cost of the trips and running of the programme - the parent/guardian will be contacted to arrange this.

The Summer Scheme is for children currently in Primary 1 - Primary 7... not those going into P1. The child MUST be able to attend all days.

Week 1 - Age 5-8 years
7th July - 10th July

Week 2 - Age 5-8 years
14th July - 17th July

Week 3 - Age 9-12 years
21st July - 24th July

Thank you so much for the kindness, generosity, and support of Sacred Heart PS Derry. It was a privilege to visit and speak with your pupils about the work of Foyle Foodbank. We are incredibly grateful to your amazing school community for the 160kg of donations collected — every item will help support local families in need. 💚

🌟 Community Spirit in Action! 🌟

We want to say a massive thank you to Foyle Foodbank for their incredible support with our Year 7 topic on hunger.

A few weeks ago, they visited our KS2 children to share the vital work they do every day. It was a powerful, eye-opening session that helped our pupils understand how much of a lifeline the foodbank is for so many in our local community, while importantly helping to remove the stigma around using it. ❤️

Inspired by their visit, our amazing school community has been working hard over the last few weeks to give back. Together, we’ve been collecting food, toiletries, and sanitary products to help support their mission. 🥫🧴🧼

Today, Louise and James from Foyle Network Foundation - Foyle Foodbank came into school to collect our donations, and we couldn't be prouder of the generosity shown by our families and staff.
